No wonder Discover Scuba Diving is our most popular activity. It is specially designed for people who have the utmost curiosity about scuba diving and wish to try it in a safe and friendly environment. The course lasts about 3 hours and consists of a 25 minutes theory class and an actual 45 minutes dive of up to 8 meters.
The course is also suitable for children 8-10 years old, and in this option, the dive reaches a maximum of 2 meters.
The whole activity is supervised by our PADI instructors, ensuring maximum fun and safety, with a ratio of one instructor for every two adult students and one instructor for every child.

It was the first time scuba diving for me and my girlfriend.
We tried snorkeling a few times before on Crete and I wanted to try out the next step with full gear.
My girlfriend however was sceptical not to say a little worried how breathing under water can work out.
So when we went into the water after being instructed how everything works, she had a really hard time letting go of her fear.
When I saw her face, I thought she would not be able to do it.
But since we had two instructors for our small group of 4 persons, Tituan took care of the ones who could somehow manage their fears and Mario took care of my girlfriend. So I want to stress, that this was the reason, our experience was so amazing! Without Mario taking the extra time literally taking my girl by the hands and calming her down, she maybe would never want to try it again. Now she loves it!
Now when we go snorkeling she swims like a pro, sticks her head under water and stays in for the whole dive.
Thank you Mario for being so patient and respecting!!!

Amazing experience, very happy

Very much beginners, we were a bit apprehensive. But from start to finish, the experience was made much easier by the calm manner in which our instructors taught us the basics. The scenery was beautiful. The waters were clear and calm.
We struggled a bit with the breathing to start with under water as its so unnatural. I nearly quit as was anxious at the start but the calm teaching from the instructors got me diving in no time. After which we found it fantastic and we went to 9 metres deep and around the bay.
Saw lots of fish and some urchins. Photos were taken for us to see and keep afterwards. One of the group saw a cuttlefish. Thanks for a fab time.

Absolutely Perfect! Couldn't Have Asked For More!

I passed my PADi Scuba course a few years ago and hadn't dived since, so I was feeling a little rusty. My partner is a good swimmer, but hadn't scuba dived before, with a slight fear of deeper waters.
My partner was rather apprehensive to try, but Matt (our instructor) was absolutely incredible. Not only was he highly professional, but extremely patient and calm for my partner, who was well out of her comfort zone. Matt was also highly professional with myself, sharing his expertise to help me brush up on the basics and gain confidence again.
Without the crystal clear water, beautiful surroundings and excellent instructor, my partner would have almost certainly given up after 5 minutes, but she didn't. We both ended up having a picture perfect full experience, with me partner now contemplating another dive later this week.
Absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish.
I couldn't recommend this diving center enough.
Not if, but when, we are back in this area of Crete, this will be the first thing we book when we arrive.

The instructors/guides were exceptional: so patient and helpful with 2 of us who were quite terrified at the start.
We were so well looked after and ended up going down to 8m for about 30 minutes. The location of the dive was beautiful. An experience I will never forget. Highly recommended.
