A shared boat excursion is a boat trip where you book individual seats and join other guests onboard. It is a more affordable alternative to a private boat charter and is popular for sightseeing, snorkeling, island tours, sunset cruises, dolphin watching, and coastal excursions.

On a shared boat excursion, the route, schedule, and onboard space are shared with other guests. On a private boat charter, the boat is reserved only for your group, giving you more privacy, flexibility, and control over the itinerary.

Yes, shared boat excursions are usually cheaper because the total cost of the boat, crew, and fuel is divided between multiple guests. They are a good option for couples, solo travelers, and small groups who want a boat trip without paying for a full private charter.

Boat excursions may include the boat trip, captain and crew, safety equipment, sightseeing route, swimming stops, snorkeling equipment, drinks, snacks, or lunch depending on the excursion. Always check the specific inclusions before booking.

Yes, shared boat excursions normally operate on fixed schedules, such as morning trips, afternoon trips, full-day excursions, or sunset cruises. Because other guests are joining, arrival time and departure time are usually less flexible than private boat charters.

Yes, many shared boat excursions are family-friendly. Shorter excursions, calm-water tours, glass-bottom boats, snorkeling trips, and coastal cruises are often good choices for families with children. Always check age limits, safety rules, and onboard facilities.

Many boat excursions include snorkeling stops, especially in destinations with clear water, reefs, marine parks, or sheltered bays. Snorkeling equipment may be included, but availability and sizes can vary, so it is worth confirming before booking.

Shared boat excursions vary from small-group trips to larger tour boats. If you prefer more space and fewer guests, choose a small-group boat excursion or book a private boat charter instead.

Bring swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, towel, dry clothes, and any personal medication. For snorkeling or swimming excursions, a waterproof phone case and light beach bag are useful. Avoid bringing too much luggage, as storage space onboard may be limited.

Yes, boat excursions can be cancelled or rescheduled if the operator decides that weather or sea conditions are unsafe. Cancellation policies vary, but most operators will offer a new date or refund when the trip cannot operate for safety reasons.
