Traveling is about exploring new places, meeting people, sharing experiences, learning about history, and above all having fun.
Our sailing tours are designed based on safety, experiencing nature, human interaction and cultural exchange.
Our knowledgeable crew is happy to share all the local knowledge concerning the surrounding nature and the history of the area.
You will be encouraged to participate in sailing if you wish to and even take the helm of our large yachts under the guidance and supervision of our professionals.
We will anchor in secluded bays at a minimum disturbance. Take your time and relax, just make sure that you grab a mask and dive in the crystal clear water. The visibility in the water along the places we visit is more than 35meters.

Beautiful, relaxing experience

Me and my wife decided to book a day trip to Dia island on our honeymoon.
After looking at many different companies, we went with Altersail....and I am over the moon we did.
From the moment we stepped foot on the boat till we docked back in Heraklion, we were made to feel very welcome.
We stopped in 2 different locations to do abit of snorkelling.
In between, we had some lunch, which was very tasty! It was a greek salad, with some BBQ kebabs served with a glass of wine. This was followed up with some fresh fruit and a little dessert, with some Ouzo (Yamas!)

It was a beautiful experience and we would highly recommend to anyone!
Perfect experience

Had an amazing time on this trip! They were incredibly accommodating and everything went perfect. Would recommend to families, couples, or anyone trying to have a day on the water.
Beautiful views with not too many people

Very good experience. Was able to get picked up from out hotel (for a price since we were outside the 10km free range). very nice skippers and nice views. just wish we stayed at the island we visited for longer than we did. An hour and a half would be nice.
It was quite ok├й and the people were nice but not a must do. Especially if you are allergic to wasps it is a no go.

The guides were really nice and gave a lot of information. The boat was fine but not a lot of room to sit comfortably. We were a bit later picked up while the first guests got drinks and we didnтАЩt. There was not enough wind to sail so we had to go on the motor with the sail a bit up for show. We went to a bay at the island Dia where we stayed to snorkel and swim. The bay had beautiful blue water. The gear provided for snorkling was quite old and worn out but it worked. There were not a lot of fish to see, only some small ones. There wasnтАЩt much to see under water besides rocks and some grass. The lunch provided was a salad with chicken and was ok . Only there were a lot of wasps on the boat. So it really made it uncomfortable to eat and drink. Lemonade was really not an option because it attracted a lot of wasps and one had to pay attention when eating. Afterwards the guide sang a song on his guitar which was a nice finish. They provided us very well with wine and other drinks. The fruit salad was good too. Summarizing it was quite ok├й and the people were nice but not a must do. Especially if you are allergic to wasps it is a no go.
Great skippers, poor value for money.

Our two skippers (Kostas and Mario) were fantastic. They really made us feel welcome and comfortable and were professional at all times. The sunset was stunning and the music was just right.

What really disappointed us was the following: we were told to arrive no later than 15.10 at the Marina Cafe meeting pont to ensure that we departed at 15.30. There was nobody to be seen and we waited a long time without knowing where to go or what to do. At 15.40 we found someone from the tour operator, we boarded the boat and then spent a further 10 minutes as the crew organised who should be on what boat. At 15.50 we were told that there was a couple who had a "problem with their transfer" to thr meeting point. The eight passengers (including us two) has to wait until 16.25 before this other couple turned up. It was clear that the tour operator preferred not to refund the couple for being too late, at the expense of the other eight passengers who had at this point been waiting over an hour. The total trip time was 3.5 hours (not 5 hours as advertised or paid for). There was no attempt made by the tour operator to make up for this. The boat trip was nice enough but we ended up with only a short time at the island due to needing to return before the sun went down completely. The food was OK, though there could have been more of it. There was only 2 snorkels for 10 people and this was already known by the staff before we left the port. Its a shame because the trip would be so much better if these things didn't happen. In summary, we didn't get value for money.
